How long have you been with ATS?
I have been with ATS for nearly 16 years.
What do you do at ATS?
I am our equipment manager, ensuring our measurement equipment is calibrated regularly and in good repair. I perform site walk-throughs, do assessments, database creation and management, vibration collection, analysis, and report creation. In addition to vibration, I also perform infrared surveys for multiple applications, ultrasonic leak detection surveys, oil sampling, Ballbar testing on CNC machines, motor circuit analysis, and optical vibration. I do in-house and onsite training as well as providing technical assistance to our Business Development Managers.
Where did you go to school and what certifications do you have?
I studied liberal arts at Kirkwood Community College. My certifications include: Vibration Institute Cat II, CMRP, ITC Infrared Level I, RDI Motion Amplification, Static Motor Testing and Dynamic Motor Monitoring thru Baker, and Entek Certified Machinery Dynamic Balancing.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to attend sporting events (I am a huge Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Rams, Iowa Hawkeyes and Simpson Storm fan), play golf, watch movies, play cards, and hang out with family and friends. When we go on vacation, I enjoy any place that I can relax with my family.
