Advanced Technology Solutions is pleased to present Ask the Experts – a section of our website dedicated to answering important questions or issues that you – our customers and followers, have concerning how to enhance the success of your condition monitoring and evaluation/predictive maintenance programs.

Asking the ATS Expert Panel a question is easy – just send an email to AskTheExpert@ats-inc.org or use the form at the Ask The Experts button on this page. The ATS Expert Panel that curates the questions and responses consists of our four most senior team members who together have over 130 years of successful condition monitoring program and system experience across multiple industries.

The ATS Expert Panel will occasionally bring in guest responders with valuable insights from within the company as well as experts from our customer base who can also help answer your questions and concerns.

When we post your questions, we will only identify you by your first name and the general industry that you work in. If you prefer complete personal anonymity, please let us know and we will only identify the industry that you work in.

Subscribers to our Blog will automatically receive notifications when new questions and their answers are posted. Please note that emailing us a question will not automatically add you to any ATS mailing list. If you want to be included in our mailing list, please subscribe here.

Meet Our Experts

Ryan Bui

Ryan Bui

A graduate of both Iowa and Iowa State in Engineering, specializes in preventative, predictive, and proactive maintenance concepts, technologies, and their implementation. With 30 years of experience as an instructor and having completed level three in vibration analysis, he will delve into the importance and rationale behind implementing a predictive program, highlighting the integration of various concepts and technologies.

Robert (Bob) Craft

Robert (Bob) Craft

A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, has spent 20 years in machinery condition monitoring and evaluation, and another 20 as a field application engineer. He specializes in helping customers achieve reliability improvement objectives across various industries, including power generation, propulsion systems, locomotives, chemical plants, automotive manufacturing, and paper mills. Bob is dedicated to ensuring customer success in all his projects.

Brock Schulte

Brock Schulte

Brock has worked extensively in the PdM field for the past 20 years on establishing and evaluating programs. A frequent attendee of industry events and committee chair assignments discussing PdM pillars and new technologies. As Director of Business Development for ATS he has had the opportunity to experience multiple market segments and has worked with all levels of corporate management, engineering, and maintenance teams. 

Brian Drahos

Brian Drahos

A seasoned expert in reliability since 2001 and the Director of Reliability at ATS, Brian has been instrumental in overseeing internal software development and testing, providing vital support to Business Development Managers, and leading successful launches of new ventures, while also demonstrating expertise in condition monitoring systems through global engagements in data collection, analysis, and comprehensive client training initiatives.
